Here are some of the best places to eat bibimbap in Jeonju, including top customer favourites and some underrated restaurants!
Hankookjib

Located in the heart of Jeonju Hanok Village, Gogung is another top-rated spot for bibimbap. They are known for their beautifully presented bibimbap, which includes a mix of seasonal vegetables and a generous portion of beef.

Pungnammun Hanjeongsik
While primarily a hanjeongsik (traditional Korean full-course meal) restaurant, Pungnammun is actually very well-known among locals for its excellent bibimbap.

Hasukyeong Gamasot Bibimbap

No idea where you should get your fill of authentic bibimbap in Jeonju, or want to have a taste of something a bit different from the usual offerings at other restaurants,? Then Hasukyeong Gamasot Bibimbap is the place to go!
Not only do they serve an eye-watering amount of banchan, but they also have a unique proposition. You can put the rice into a cast iron gamasot to get a crispy burnt rice, then pour barley tea in to make a special “dessert”!

Emokdae

The bibimbap here may not be usually featured in most other travel guides, but it is a truly satisfying meal to have. Just imagine eating hot, flavourful rice in the cold winter!
The highlight, however, is the beef patties. Don’t think that they are just hamburger patties: these beef patties really pack a punch! The spring onions that were added for garnishing add a delightful zest to the already very addictive marinated meat.
