Jeju Island is often called the “Hawaii of South Korea”, where many visit for its stunning landscapes, amazing food, and unique culture.
If you’re wondering what to bring back, this guide covers the best souvenirs to buy in Jeju — from delicious local snacks to the most fascinating K-beauty products!
1. Jeju Hallabong Products

Hallabong is Jeju’s signature citrus fruit — a sweet, juicy tangerine known for its unique flavor and fragrance. You’ll find Hallabong-inspired products everywhere on the island, making them some of the most popular Jeju souvenirs.
- Hallabong Tea – this is a very refreshing and aromatic tea made from dried Hallabong peels.
- Hallabong Chocolate – these are sweet treats infused with Jeju’s famous citrus flavour. Our tour guide in 2016 told us that the prices of all these chocolates are standardized throughout Jeju to ensure fair competition!
- Hallabong Marmalade or Jam – perfect for spreading on toast or mixing into yogurt.
- Hallabong Beauty Products – as expected from the country well-known for beauty products, you can get lotions and masks enriched with Hallabong extract for bright, glowing skin.
- Hallabongs – you can just buy the fruit itself and bring home. You’ll be surprised by how popular they are, especially considering that they are very expensive overseas.
Where to Buy: Jeju’s markets, Hallabong orchards, and local souvenir shops.

Jeju’s black pork is one of the island’s culinary highlights. If you can’t get enough of black pork BBQ (my personal favourite is Bondon!), you can take a bit of this famous flavour home with you.
However, do be careful of certain import restrictions that your country may have on meat, particularly pork.
- Black Pork Jerky – a savoury and slightly sweet snack that tastes a bit like bak gwa.
- Black Pork Chips – crispy and addictive, these make a great travel snack.
Where to Buy: Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market and local grocery stores.
