E-World’s attractions include roller coasters, carousels, and a Ferris wheel. The park is especially popular during the nighttime, as it features beautiful light displays that create a magical atmosphere.

While it does lack the boisterous environment of popular theme parks, E-World being relatively emptier works in your advantage. You don’t have to queue to get on the best rides, and don’t have to pay for an express pass!

BONUS: Yongma Land

If you find the usual amusement parks a tad boring, how about exploring one that’s been abandoned?

Yongma Land is a small abandoned amusement park in Seoul that opened in 1980 as a family-friendly amusement park. However, when Lotte World opened in 1989, people lost interest in the smaller Yongma Land.

Despite undergoing renovations, it eventually ceased operations in 2011 after Seoul city revoked their license (so sad!)

Though it is no longer operating as an amusement park, the area continues to attract about 50 to 60 visitors each day, from curious tourists to photography & videography professionals.

The current owner of the property allows visitors for a small fee. Apparently, this money collected from visitor fees allows the owner to maintain arrested decay in the park.

About Me

Hi! I’m Tofu V from Singapore.

My love for Korea stemmed from a love of K-pop and K-dramas that started more than a decade ago. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Korea both as a tourist and a student. I’ve accumulated interesting experiences (mostly good, occasionally bad) along the way as I try my best to see as much of Korea as possible, and this blog is an accumulation of all that I’ve learned and tried.
